Parents

Are you feeling challenged with tantrums? whining? bedtime routines? sibling conflicts? power struggles?

Is it hard to leave the park? shop for groceries?

Do you wish you connected more and argued less? Or, do you just want to learn some more effective parenting skills?

You are not alone!

Join parents just like you for weeks of parenting classes. Learn to discipline with firmness and kindness, have fun as a parent, and set the foundation for important social and life skills. Help your child feel a sense of belonging and significance through mutual respect and encouragement.

Based on Jane Nelsen’s Positive Discipline books, these classes are a fun way to connect with other parents in the community and practice the skills over a few weeks so that you can go more in depth with the material.

“Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by parenthood or just need a little support,  Positive Discipline of CT’s classes are for you.  Within just a week of learning this new approach and implementing the strategies, I saw an immediate change in my children’s behaviors and my stress level. I am more calm, they are more cooperative and we are all more loving.  Finally, there’s happiness in our home!”
